The RAPID 1-2-3® HEMA Cassette assays, manufactured by Hema Diagnostic Systems, is a reliable, easy to use, and cost effective method of confirming a screening test. Our amazing line includes cassette tests for the diagnosis of HIV, HIV ½ Dual, TB, Malaria Pf, Malaria Pf/Pv, Malaria Pf/Pv/Multi, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C.

The RAPID 1-2-3®HEMA Cassette assays come ready to use and consists of:

• HIV Cassette device packaged in a foil pouch with desiccant
• Diluent solution bottle
• Pipette for whole blood use
• Twist-off lancet

The testing process for the RAPID 1-2-3® HEMA Cassette assay is very simple:

1. Open foil pouch and remove cassette. Place on a clean and flat surface.
2. Prick finger with supplied lancet.
3. Use pipette to take blood from finger and transfer into Port “A”.
4. Add five drops of diluent solution to Port “B”.
5. Diluent and blood will flow up and onto membrane.
6. Read test results: A single line in the Control region and second line in the Test region indicates a “reactive” or POSITIVE result for HIV.

Test results for The RAPID 1-2-3® HEMA HIV:

A single line in the Control region and no line in the Test region indicates a “NON-reactive” or NEGATIVE result for HIV.

A single line in the Control region and second line in the Test region indicates a “reactive” or POSITIVE result for HIV.

Test results for The RAPID 1-2-3® HEMA HIV DUAL:

1. Una línea en la región de Control y la ausencia de una línea en la región de Test, indica un resultado “NO-reactivo” o NEGATIVO para AMBOS VIH 1 Y VIH 2.

2. Una línea en la región de Control y otra en la región de Test en el “1”, indica un resultado reactivo” o POSITIVO para el VIH 1.

3. Una línea en la región de Control y otra en la región de Test en el “2”, indica un resultado “reactivo” o POSITIVO para el VIH 2.

4. Una línea en la región de Control, otra en la región de Test en el “1” Y en la región de Test “2”, indica un resultado “reactivo” o POSITIVO para ambos VIH 1 y VIH 2.

5. La ausencia de una línea en la región de Test, indica que la prueba no es valida y se debe realizar nuevamente.
